Held in the after school shift at Escola Jardim do Cajueiro for young people between 12 and 17 years old and sponsored by the Mahle Institute, educators Elô Esteves (psychologist), Rafaela Nascimento (art educator)  and Tchelo Nunes (musician ) promoted meetings where music, literature, poetry, plastic arts, theater and photography become very important tools in the social, critical and identity development of adolescents from public schools in the village.

 

In the desire to strengthen and strengthen the emotional bonds between young people with few cultural resources and public spaces for leisure on the peninsula, Escola Jardim do Cajueiro was the meeting point, the place where their voices, ideas and dreams took on sounds, shapes and colors.

This constant exchange of experiences made it possible to create musical compositions, scripts and drawings for animations, making clothes and props, photographic essays and many other activities.
